وقالت: الحال يتجه للأسوأ، فهناك ثورات يستتبعها حالات من عدم الاستقرار، ولايوجد توحيد للهدف، ففي مصر نجحت الثورة، وفي بلدان أخرى لم تسقط الأنظمة الحاكمة بعد، والفوضى تعمّ البلاد، إذن فهناك تناقض وخلل ما لا أستطيع تحليله، كما يحدث في اليمن وسوريا وليبيا
وقالت نيكول في حوارها لجريدة الدستور المصرية: أشعر بأن هناك مخططاً لتدمير المنطقة بأكملها، بدليل أن الأمور لم تصل إلى سلام، فما أن تهدأ الأمور هنا حتى تشتعل هناك، ولا أرى أي شيء مبشر، فأنا لا أريد أن أضحك على نفسي وأقول إن الحياة بمبي والدنيا جميلة
وعن قراءتها لمشهد مبارك داخل قفص الاتهام، قالت: لاشك أن هذا الموقف يعد درساً لكل الحكام، كما أنه درس لكل شخص ليتعلم منه أنخ سوف يحاسب على مااقترفته يداه، ليس في الدنيا فقط، لكن في الآخرة أيضاً، وربنا حسابه أكبر بكثير

وعن المشاكل التي صادفتها أثناء تصوير مسلسلها الجديد نور مريم، قالت: لم يكن هناك مشاكل شخصية، وإنما هو ضغط بسبب التصوير من جانب والظروف التي مرت بالبلد وحظر التجوال من جانب آخر، ولم يكن أحد غيرنا يصور في هذه الظروف، فلم يكن هناك أمان، واستغرق وقت التصوير فترة طويلة، وكانت الشخصية مليئة بالمشاعر الإنسانية
