وأكدت والدة “نبيلة” أن ابنتها لا تهتم بالطعام اطلاقا لكنها مع ذلك تحاول اطعامها ومساعدتها على قضاء حاجتها وهي نائمة والمثير في الامر أن نبيلة لم تتكلم منذ 13 عاما عندما انزوت فجأة عن أفراد عائلتها رافضة الاحتكاك بالعالم الخارجي



وأشارت والدة نبيلة الى أنها فوجئت بأن نوم ابنتها العميق يستمر لاشهر طويلة دون أن تأكل ولا تتكلم مع أحد من أسرتها التي لم تتمكن من معرفة السبب أو ما الالم الذي تشعر به لكنها في بعض الاحيان تشعر بالالم في رأسها

وعجز الاطباء عن تفسير الظاهرة لكنهم يقولون ان حالتها وراثية لان والدتها كانت غير طبيعية منذ الشهر الثاني الذي لازمها بصراخ مستمر حتى بلوغها سن العاشرة مؤكدين أن قصة نبيلة مرتبطة بجدتها التي توفيت وهي نائمة لمدة 3 أشهر متتالية

وأوضح دفاضل علي أن حالة نبيلة قد تكون بسبب خلل في الجهاز العصبي وخاصة مركز النوم في المخ لانه علميا لا يستطيع الانسان أن ينام أكثر من 48 ساعة دون أن يأكل أو يشرب لان الجسم يتطلب الغذاء والماء وعدم حصوله عليهما يسبب المرض
